Bought this after much research and price comparison. It fits our island perfectly and looks fantastic. Oven is a little slow to reach temperature. Gas burners are excellent. Simmer feature has been used a bunch and highly appreciated. Middle rear small burner is just right for slow heating soups. We are new to gas so have made a few mistakes and had to start over on some recipes. EZ oven rack is awesome, but sometimes slides too easily and it takes two people to handle a large dish. Convection works great. Hookup was easy and after bleeding air out of lines, burners lit with no trouble. Like the "Control Lock" feature as our cats like to check out the display from time to time. Only reason for some of the lower ratings is the oven heating issue, but we are getting used to it.

After much research, I purchased the KDRS467VSS Dual Fuel stove on 8/7 /2015 . Dent was discovered on front kick plate upon delivery and was documented by delivery man on receipt. Apparently it is taking a long time to get the part. I am still waiting to have this replaced. I did not pay a high price for a dented stove. If I would have wanted one, I could have saved a lot of money and purchased one from those dealers who sell slightly damaged appliances. On October 2, 2015, I called dealer to have service repairman check why I kept getting the code ERR F6EO. On first complaint, I was instructed to turn off multi breaker for 10 seconds, then turn breaker back on and error message should clear. It worked, but happened again 5 days later. I could not see myself repeating these steps every time I saw this error code & asked dealer to have it serviced since it was under warranty.. Dealer had repairman first check to see if we did not have any electrical problems since our home is 44 yrs. old. ( We did not. I knew that because we had a certified electrician check to make sure we were in compliance before we even made this purchase). Repairman then called KitchenAid and after much discussion & investigation, it was decided that computer board needed to be replaced. 7 days later it was replaced and the oven operated very well. Today, 7 months later, (after I baked bread), I got the ERR F6EO code again. There is something seriously wrong with this oven. I cannot believe that a replaced computer board would last only 7 months. It is a beautiful stove and very well constructed but is definitely not dependable. I have no problem with gas cook top (yet). It is very disappointing, to say the least, to make such a large investment (because I always believed you pay for what you get) only to have an oven work well sometimes and continue to have to replace computer board every 7 months. I feel I should get reimbursed or get another stove replacement . This is a lemon!

Love this range

Comments about KitchenAid 36” Dual Fuel Slide-In Range - Stainless Steel:

We looked at many different brands (many quite high-end) and decided on this one based on the reviews being so good. After having lived with this range for almost a year we are totally thrilled with it. The gas cook top has 3 different sizes of burners to cover every application. The dual, convection/electric stove works fantastic and the bread-proof mode is especially nice. The build quality is very solid and high-end. We couldn't be more pleased.

We bought this a month ago and besides look fabulous, the six burners were much needed for our seven fish Christmas Eve dinner along with the large oven. Best stove we ever bought.

Better than Viking!

Comments about KitchenAid 36” Dual Fuel Slide-In Range - Stainless Steel:

This is truly professional quality stove! The heat comes on quickly and smoothly. Chesnibg is easy too. I used to own a Viking stove so I can compare the two and as of now, the kitchen aid is better than Viking.

Comments about KitchenAid 36” Dual Fuel Slide-In Range - Stainless Steel:

The gas stove top cooks just the way I like and is so roomy that I really can have 6 pots cooking without crowding. The convection electric oven bakes, roasts, very well. Easy convection is easily understood and used. I use convection for all my baking: cookies, pies and they turn out great. The racks are very sturdy, slide well and the roller slide for the bottom rack is awesome.

A Great Range

Comments about KitchenAid 36” Dual Fuel Slide-In Range - Stainless Steel:

Preparing Christmas dinner this year was a very enjoyable project compared to my prior range. Plenty of room to cook with instant heat and the oven was right on the money. The only issue was the oven shelves did not slide easily. The more weight the harder to slide. This is an excellent choice.

Waste of $$$.

By Disgusted/disappointed

from Elmhurst IL

Comments about KitchenAid 36” Dual Fuel Slide-In Range - Stainless Steel:

Read the reviews OFF the Kitchen Aid site. We bought this very expensive range 13 yrs ago. We are at over $1500 in repairs. Not only does our model only work on occasion it's dangerous and Kitchen aid will not recall it. Even tho several complaits online about glass in oven door blowing out when you use the self cleaning part of the oven. Ours loses power when you try to change the temp. Guage while oven on then just stops working, we replaced our glass in door already shattered. Oven door locks anytime it feel like it and have to shut off power oven. Or call repair man to come unlock it. We used the self cleaner and oven locked again. Now not able to use self cleaner at all anymore. It went onto self cleaning mode while I was baking(Dangerous) the mother board went out years ago and had to be replaced. I'll be leaving reviews on every site about this oven aND on Facebook publically the fact that kitchen aid will not recall it. SO IRRESPONSIBLE! someone can get hurt when glass blows out while self cleaning is turned on.

Beautiful when it works!

Comments about KitchenAid 36” Dual Fuel Slide-In Range - Stainless Steel:

Purchased the 36" 6 burner dual fuel freestanding commercial range July 2016. Finally put it to the big test on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th. It failed. I was using the oven and the cook-top preparing dinner for 21 and the oven just quit. I turned the oven off, restarted and it began to heat up. Then it quit again. First appointment that warranty could make was December 5. A-Z Service came out and determined I needed a new part caused by using the burners and oven at the same time. That's why I purchased a commercial brand so I wouldn't have to worry. A week later December 14th my oven was fixed. I am now worried about my next big gathering on Christmas.

Love the cook top. Oven an airplane

By Lori

from Alberta

Comments about KitchenAid 36” Dual Fuel Slide-In Range - Stainless Steel:

We have had our stove for a few months and have absolutely no complaints with the cook top. Love the 6 burners. I am a baker and am really struggling with the oven component. The oven really sounds like a plan taking off. Looking at the reviews it appears this has happened to others but not very common. I imagine it is the intensity of the vibrations of the fan that sounds like an airplane that is causing everything I bake to flop. Wishing I had my old electric oven back.
