Comments about Franklin Power Lift Recliner:
Pretty good but pretty slow! A full cycle (from fully standing to fully reclining back to standing is one full minute) I actually went back to the store and timed the demo model because I didn't remember it being that slow in the store but they are. Not normally an issue except we had to move the phone beside the chairs because you'd miss the call by the time you got out of the chair. Another time I had food "go down the wrong way" and it took 15 seconds to get from half reclined to where I could get out of the chair. THAT seemed too long at the time. In an earthquake situation it would also be too long. I could live with the lift feature being slow but the "recline to being able to get out of the chair" needs to be faster.
I'm not a big fan of the remote on the cord - had to velcro it to the table beside the chair because it kept falling - and because there isn't much of a head rest - while half reclined(TV position) I look at the ceiling - to watch TV I have to slide my butt out a bit and there's not quite enough padding in that spot so am looking for a gel pad I can slide into the chair cushion.
Besides these things I still like it and would recommend it as it is half the price of the top end brand but they could improve it.
