When you choose delivery from The Brick, we do more than just drop off your new purchase. Our Premium Delivery Service includes the placement of your new product wherever you want it in your home and, in some cases, assembly.
The Brick’s Premium Delivery Service is available in major cities across Canada. If you live in a rural or remote area, or are unsure what delivery services apply to you, please contact your nearest Brick store.
When you purchase furniture from The Brick and have it delivered, our team will help you enjoy your new items as fast as possible.
Upholstery items will be placed in the room of your choice and all packaging will be removed (except for items marked as “customer assembly required”). Legs, backs and recliner handles will be installed, and recliners will be unlocked. Large, pre-assembled bedroom and dining room items will be put into place and the packaging removed. Bases will be attached to tables, mirrors attached to dressers, headboards and footboards attached to bed frames (purchased or existing), and hutches will be placed on buffets.
Hardware including handles and shelves will be left in their packaging and not installed or attached. However, our handy installation and assembly teams can do this work for you for a competitive fee. Visit our installation and assembly page to learn more about our services and book an appointment.
We will remove packaging from your new mattress and boxspring, assemble your mattress frame (if purchased), and place both your mattress and boxspring on the frame. Our delivery team will also remove your old mattress and boxspring for a small disposal fee.
Health and safety regulations require your old mattress or boxspring be wrapped in a plastic bag for removal. Plastic bags are available from any of our Brick locations.
Use your Brick Card Platinum to purchase your first sleep set, and we’ll deliver it to local addresses for free.
We will open and put into place all major appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, freezers and dishwashers), attach handles on refrigerators and place washers and dryers on pedestals or a stacking kit (if ordered). Drivers will also install new washer hoses and metal dryer hoses in major metropolitan markets.
For insurance reasons, our delivery personnel are not able to hook-up plastic dryer hoses, gas lines, or electrical wiring. However, our installation and assembly teams can provide you with this service at a competitive rate. Smaller appliances will be left in their original packaging, but placed in the room of your choice.
Televisions larger than 37" will be removed from packaging and placed in the room of your choice. All other home theatre, audio, video and satellite components, including televisions smaller than 37", will be left in their original packaging in the room of your choice.

Currently The Brick cannot remove your existing electronics. However, you may take your old electronics to any of our distribution centres (excluding Manitoba) for recycling. Our in-store and delivery staff cannot accept or recycle used electronics.
All items marked as “customer assembly required” will be left in their original packaging in the room of your choice. Due to the nature of “customer assembly required” products, assembly of these items is not included as part of The Brick’s Premium Delivery Service.

When you purchase a new appliance at The Brick, you no longer need to worry about getting rid of your existing one on your own. With our Premium Delivery Service, we will remove and recycle your old appliance for free on a one-for-one basis, saving you the cost and time of doing it yourself.
This complementary service is available in most major metropolitan areas. If you live in a rural or remote area, or are unsure free appliance removal and recycling applies to you, please contact your nearest Brick store.
Please note that our delivery personnel are not licensed to disconnect gas, plumbing or electrical from your appliances. Please ensure your old appliances are disconnected and empty prior to the delivery of your new ones. While our delivery team is not permitted to assist with this task, our installation and assembly personnel can provide you with this service at a competitive rate. Deliveries requested to rural locations may not include some or all of The Brick’s Premium Delivery Service noted above and may be subject to additional Shipping fee’s. Please contact your nearest Brick store to inquire about the availability of services before placing your order.
Please assist us in making sure your product delivery is successful.
Full product payment is required a minimum of 48 hours prior to the confirmed delivery date. A customer service representative will contact you two to three days before your scheduled pick-up or delivery date to confirm your address, the merchandise you purchased and if the proposed date is still convenient for you. Orders that cannot be confirmed will be rescheduled.
Prior to your delivery, you will be contacted and provided a three-hour time window for when the delivery team will arrive on the scheduled delivery day. In rural markets, the time window may be extended due to driving distances as well as highway and weather conditions.
Please have a responsible person in your home at the time of delivery. For your protection, your purchase will only be delivered if a responsible person is present at your home during the delivery.
Please ensure your driveway, entrances and hallways are clear and free from ice, snow, bikes, toys and other hazards and obstacles. Prior to ordering and delivery, pre-measure your doorways, entrances, hallways and staircases to ensure your new product will fit. In rare situations where the product may be a tight fit, you have the option of approving our attempt for delivery by releasing us from liability for damage to your property (a signed release is required), or by returning to a Brick store to make an alternate selection.
Our delivery personnel are not licensed to connect or disconnect gas, plumbing or electrical to or from your appliances. Please arrange to have these items disconnected, if required, before delivery. Due to health and safety regulations, our delivery personnel are required to wear safety footwear at all times. However, we will take precautions to protect your flooring.
The Brick is pleased to offer our customers the ability to ship qualified products via Canada Post's popular Xpresspost service.
An online order may contain a maximum of two (2) qualified Xpresspost items. If your order contains more than two Xpresspost qualified items, The Brick’s Premium Delivery Service will automatically be selected for you instead of Xpresspost Delivery. Any order that includes both Xpresspost qualified items and items that cannot be shipped via Xpresspost will be shipped in its entirety via The Brick’s Premium Delivery Service.
Once your Xpresspost qualified online order has been approved (estimated one to three business days), Xpresspost will pick up your order at The Brick Distribution Centre in your area and deliver it to your home within two to four business days. If you are unavailable to sign for delivery and a safe drop-off location is not available, the courier will leave you a notification card indicating how to obtain your package.

As an alternative to delivery, you can choose to pick up your order. When you purchase products online, simply select the nearest Brick store or distribution centre to you. For more information about in-store pick-up, contact your nearest Brick store.
Please note that the first and last name of the person picking up the order must be provided, and that a valid photo ID must be presented at the pick-up location before the order will be released.
Some areas in Canada are outside our standard Brick Premium Delivery Service zones. If your Order Summary indicates your delivery will be Third Party Courier Delivery, then your product will be shipped via an independent freight carrier with freight charges being collected from you on delivery (COD).
All COD delivery charges are competitive and based on shipment from our regional distribution centre to the independent freight carrier's depot nearest you.

The Brick does not deliver to the United States or other international destinations. For that reason, online transactions from non-Canadian residents will not be accepted.
Purchases from customers living outside of Canada will only be processed for pick-up in Canada after payment is presented and accepted in Canada. You will be responsible for transporting and importing your purchase to your country of residence.
