This Contest shall be conducted by The Brick Warehouse LP (“The Brick”) for customers to enter at any The Brick’s location in Quebec (the “Stores”) (a customer is referred to as “You” or “Your”).
The contest runs from August 3, 2023 – August 17, 2023, from Store opening to Store closing (“Contest Period”).
“Draw Date” – Friday, August 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. MT.
If You finalize a sale of product purchased at a Store during the Contest Period, using any payment method, an entry will be automatically entered for the Prizes.
To enter, You must attend the Store to scan the exclusive contest QR code. A sales associate will direct You to a QR code that will take You to the online entry ballots. You must complete and submit the online entry (both the automatic entries and on-line entries will collectively be referred to as “Entry/Entries”).
Limit of one (1) on-line Entry per prize per family during the Contest Period.
For this purpose, “family” means all persons, whether related or not, living in the same household. The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited. Any attempt to manipulate the Contest will result in You being disqualified.
Odds of winning decrease as the number of Entries increase during the Contest Period.
There are three (3) prizes to be won:

Prize must be accepted as awarded, may not be sold or transferred, and are not convertible to cash. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.
*The Win Your Purchase Winner will have the full price of their purchase, including GST and QST refunded to their original method of payment to a maximum of $5,000. Note: The Brick will NOT refund any warranties, administration fees for deferring payment on Brick Card or delivery fees. Any Winners who paid by cash will receive a cheque which will be issued from The Brick’s Head Office in Edmonton, Alberta. If a Winner who paid by Brick card has already paid their balance on their Brick card by the Draw Date, they will be refunded their purchase price (to a maximum of $5,000) by cheque. A non-purchase participant will receive a $2,500 cheque.
The Brick’s Satisfaction Guarantee, Price Guarantee and Price Protection policies as published from time to time shall not be applicable to any merchandise purchased with this prize. The Brick’s liability for defective merchandise shall be limited to repairing defective or, where appropriate, to exchanging such defective goods within the manufacturer’s warranty period and in accordance with such warranties. In no case shall The Brick refund or otherwise compensate the winner beyond repairing or exchanging defective goods.
The contest is open to all residents of Quebec who have reached the age of majority in Quebec, on or before Draw Date except employees, representatives, agents, and affiliates of The Brick and Leon's Furniture Ltd., and all people employed as contractors or sub-contractors of The Brick, and their immediate family members living in the same household.
You agree to abide by the Rules as set out herein, subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws. It is a condition of eligibility that the winner authorizes The Brick to announce and publish his/her name, address and photograph, without remuneration or consideration, in any forthcoming publicity.
On August 21, 2023 at 11:00 am (MT), a representative from The Brick’s corporate office in Edmonton, Alberta will draw and record four (4) Entry forms from the combined automatic entries and associated website entries and obtain three (3) winners (“Eligible Winners”). The additional drawn Entry is a back-up Entry in the event that any of the initial Eligible Winner are non-responsive after contact, fail to comply with the contest rules, or are unable to complete the skill testing question, and those names will be recorded in the order they were drawn (“Alternate Winner(s)”).
A representative from the corporate office will use his/her reasonable efforts to contact each Eligible Winner by phone or e-mail after the Draw Date. If the Eligible Winner cannot be reached by telephone or has not contacted The Brick within three (3) days of The Brick leaving messages to do so (“Contact Date”), then that person will be disqualified and The Brick shall proceed to contact the next Alternate Winner.
Each Eligible Winner whose name has been selected on the Draw Date must:
Be over the age of majority in Quebec;
Within three (3) business days following the Contact Date, correctly answer a time-limited, arithmetical skill-testing question without the assistance of any person or mechanical/recording device(s). The skill-testing process shall be administered at a pre-arranged time and place;
Execute a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the Official Contest Rules and acceptance of the Prize; and
Should any Eligible Winner fail to answer the skill-testing question correctly or is unable to attend at the time and place designated by The Brick for the administration of same, that Eligible Winner shall be disqualified and the skill-testing question shall be administered to the next Alternate Winner.
By accepting a Prize the winners agree to The Brick’s use of their names, city, province or territory of residence and/or photograph for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation.
By participating, You agree that: a) these Official Contest Rules and The Brick’s records of the draw or any other aspect of this contest shall be final and conclusive in all respects; and b) release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless The Brick and its trustees, directors, officers, and employees from any liability, claims, damages, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever which they, their heirs, successors, assigns, executors, or administrators may now or hereafter have directly or indirectly against them or any of them in respect of or relating to the Contest and/or the acceptance or use, misuse, or possession of any prize.
The Brick shall not be responsible for print or typographical errors in any Contest-related materials; for transactions that are posted late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. The Brick reserves the right to amend or vary the Official Contest Rules, including the imposition or addition of new rules which are deemed by The Brick in its sole discretion necessary for business efficacy.
The Brick will use the contact information provided in contest entries for administration of this Contest and/or to ascertain Your needs and market to You. We may communicate with you for any of these purposes by telephone, fax, text messaging, or other electronic means, and automatic dialing-announcing device, at the numbers you have provided us, or by internet, mail, email and other methods. By entering this Contest, you acknowledge and agree to give permission to The Brick to collect, use and disclose Your personal information in accordance with The Brick’s privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”). The Brick is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information you have provided herein. For Québec Residents Only: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
The Brick’s records of the draw or any other aspect of this Contest shall be final and conclusive for all purposes relating to this Contest.
