The Contest shall be conducted by The Brick Warehouse LP (“The Brick”) exclusively at The Brick’s Surrey Central store at 3600 Central City, 10153 King George Boulevard, Surrey, BC V3T 2W1 (hereinafter referred to as “Store”). A participant shall be referred to as “You” or “Your”.
Contest dates: Commencing Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. PT until the close of business on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 9:00 p.m. PT.
No purchase is necessary in order to participate in this Contest.
From December 2, 2023 to January 8, 2024, The Brick will be running a contest for one (1) grand prize (“Grand Prize”).
Concurrently, The Brick will also be running two mini contests during the Contest as per the Contest Schedule below (“Mini Contests”).
If You finalize a sale of product purchased at the Store during the Contest Period, using any payment method, You will be automatically entered for all of the Contests that are active on that date.
To enter any of the Contests without purchase, You must attend the Store to scan the exclusive contest QR code. A sales associate will direct You to a QR code that will take You to the online entry ballot. You will have the option of selecting to enter for any of the Prizes available to be won, depending on the date you attend the Store. Example: if you attend the Store on December 6, you will only have the option of submitting an entry for the Grand Prize. If you attend the Store on December 8, the Prize options will include the Prizes for the Mini Contest as well as the Grand Prize. You cannot enter twice for the Grand Prize. Should you accidently tick the box to enter again for the Grand Prize, the duplicate Entry will be removed. You must complete and submit the online entry (“Entry/Entries”).

Limit of one (1) on-line Entry per family per Contest Period within the Mini Contest Schedule.
To enter, You must live within the Surrey postal code region and/or within one hundred (100) km of the Store address.
For this purpose, “family” means all persons, whether related or not, living in the same household who are over the age of majority in the province in which they reside. The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited. Any attempt to manipulate the Contest will result in You being disqualified.
Grand Prize Odds: Odds of being selected to be one of the Eligible Finalists to win the Grand Prize decrease as the number of Participants who attend the Store, complete and submit an Entry for the Grand Prize during the Grand Prize Contest Period or are automatically entered due to purchase, increase. Odd for the Eligible Finalists to win the Grand Prize is 1 in 5.
Mini Contest Odds: Odds of winning one of the Mini Contest prizes (“Mini Contest Prize”) decrease as the number of Participants who attend the Store and submit an Entry for each Prize during the Contest dates within the Mini Contest Schedule, or are automatically entered due to purchase, increase.

On the Selection Date for the Grand Prize, a representative from the Store will draw and record six (6) Entry Forms from the combined automatic Entries and associated website Entries to obtain five (5) finalists (“Eligible Finalists”). The additional Entry drawn is a back-up Entry in the event that an initial Eligible Finalist is non-responsive after contact, fails to comply with the Contest Rules, or is unable to complete the skill-testing question (“Alternate Finalist”).
The Brick representative will use his/her reasonable efforts to contact the Eligible Finalists by phone or e-mail after the Selection Date. If an Eligible Finalist cannot be reached by telephone or has not contacted The Brick within three (3) days of The Brick leaving messages to do so (“Contact Date”), then that person will be disqualified, and The Brick shall proceed to contact the Alternate Finalist.
All five (5) Eligible Finalist will attend the Store on January 13, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. PST for the Live on Location Grand Prize Finale. The names of all Eligible Finalists will be placed in a box and a representative from the Store will draw names and record them in the order they were drawn. In the order their name was drawn, each Eligible Finalist will pick a suitcase. There will be an equal number of suitcases and Eligible Finalists. Failure to attend will result in that Eligible Finalist being disqualified.
Each Eligible Finalist will open their suitcase. The Eligible Finalist whose suitcase reveals the $10,000 Travel Voucher will be deemed the “Grand Prize Winner”.

Draw Procedures for Mini Contest Prizes:
On each of the Draw Dates, a representative from the Store will combine the Entries from the automatic Entries and the NPM Entries from that Contest Period, draw and record an Entry to obtain one (1) winner (“Eligible Winner”) for each Prize.
The Brick representative will use his/her reasonable efforts to contact the Eligible Winners by phone or e-mail after the Draw Date. If an Eligible Winner cannot be reached by telephone or has not contacted The Brick within three (3) days of The Brick leaving messages to do so (“Contact Date”), then that person will be disqualified, and The Brick will draw another Entry from the corresponding Prize Entries (“Alternate Winner”).
Mini Contest Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not convertible to cash. Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.
Total cumulative value of the prizes is $27,449.88 CAD.
Once the Winners have been confirmed, the Store will arrange for delivery of the Prizes to the Winners living within 100 km of a Brick store. Should a Prize Winner live outside of the specified delivery area, The Brick will ship the Prize to the Distribution Centre/Store closest to them.
The Brick’s Satisfaction Guarantee, Price Guarantee and Price Protection policies as published from time to time shall not be applicable to any merchandise obtained as a result of redeeming the Brick Gift Card or any portion thereof. The Brick’s liability for defective merchandise shall be limited to repairing defective or, where appropriate, to exchanging such defective goods within the manufacturer’s warranty period and in accordance with such warranties. In no case shall The Brick refund or otherwise compensate the winner beyond repairing or exchanging defective goods.
The contest is open to all British Columbia residents who have reached the age of majority on or before the commencement of the Contest Period, except employees, representatives, agents, and affiliates of The Brick and Leon's Furniture Ltd. and their immediate family members living in the same household.
You agree to abide by the contest rules as set out herein, subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.
It is a condition of eligibility that the Winner authorizes The Brick to announce and publish his/her name, address and photograph, without remuneration or consideration, in any forthcoming publicity.
Each Eligible Winner whose entry form has been selected on the Draw Date must:
within three (3) business days following the Contact Date, correctly answer a timelimited, arithmetical skill-testing question without the assistance of any person or mechanical/recording device(s). The skill-testing process shall be administered at a prearranged time and place; and
execute a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the Prize.
Should an Eligible Winner fail to answer the skill-testing question correctly or is unable to attend at the time and place designated by The Brick for the administration of same, that Eligible Winner shall be disqualified, and the skill-testing question shall be administered to the first Alternate Winner.
By participating, You agree that: a) these Official Contest Rules and The Brick’s records of the draw or any other aspect of this contest shall be final and conclusive in all respects; and b) release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless The Brick and its trustees, directors, officers, and employees from any liability, claims, damages, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever which they, their heirs, successors, assigns, executors, or administrators may now or hereafter have directly or indirectly against them or any of them in respect of or relating to the Contest and/or the acceptance or use, misuse, or possession of any prize.
The Brick shall not be responsible for print or typographical errors in any Contest-related materials; for transactions that are posted late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. The Brick assumes no responsibility for any computer, online, software, servers, providers, computer equipment, hardware or technical malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of an Entry.
By entering the Contest, You agree to The Brick’s use of Your personal information for the purpose of administering this Contest and in accordance with The Brick’s Privacy Policy.
The Brick will use the contact information provided in contest entries for administration of this Contest. By entering this contest, You acknowledge and agree to give permission to The Brick to collect, use and disclose Your personal information in accordance with The Brick’s privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”). The Brick is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information You have provided herein. From time to time The Brick may use Your personal information to ascertain Your needs and market to You through commercial electronic messages, including Automatic Dialing Announcing Device telemarketing. The Brick reserves the right to amend or vary the Official Contest Rules, including the imposition or addition of new rules which are deemed by The Brick in its sole discretion necessary for business efficacy.
