Current Contests at the Brick

This Contest shall be conducted by The Brick Warehouse LP ("The Brick"). A participant shall be referred to as “You” or “Your”. You may enter the Contest from any computer with an internet connection, including computers at all Brick store locations across Canada.

1. HOW TO ENTER

To be eligible to Win Your Purchase, You must firstly make a purchase at any Brick store across Canada during the Contest Dates and secondly, you must leave a review on Google about Your recent Brick purchase (“Google Review”).

The Contest will run from 12:00 AM (EST) on January 1, 2024 until 11:59:59 PM (EST) on December 31, 2024 (“Contest Dates”).

Subject to compliance with the other Rules and conditions of the Contest, You will only be eligible to Win Your Purchase during the month you submitted Your review.

No Purchase Necessary Method (“NPM”):

You can leave a Google Review about Your recent experience in any Brick location.

NOTE: The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited. Any attempt to manipulate the Contest will result in You being disqualified.

Each draw shall be conducted on the draw date listed in the Contest Schedule ("Draw Date") at 11:00 AM (MST) to obtain a winner from the prior month’s Google Reviews.

CONTEST SCHEDULE

Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of Google Reviews submitted during that month. Odds decrease as the amount of Google Reviews increase.

2. WHO CAN ENTER:

The Contest is open to all residents of Canada, including Quebec, who have reached the age of majority on or before the Draw Date except employees of The Brick and their immediate family members living in the same household.

You agree to abide by the Contest Rules as set out herein, subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.

It is a condition of eligibility that the winner authorizes The Brick to announce and publish his/her name, address and photograph, without remuneration or consideration, in any forthcoming publicity.

3. MONTHLY PRIZE:

There will be a Win Your Purchase Winner drawn for each month of the Contest as per the Contest Schedule!

Each Win Your Purchase Winner will have the full price of their purchase, including GST, HST and QST, as applicable, refunded to their original method of payment to a maximum of $1,000.00. Note: The Brick will NOT refund any warranties, administration fees for deferring payment on Brick Card or delivery fees. Any Winner who paid by cash will receive a cheque which will be issued from The Brick’s Head Office in Edmonton, Alberta. If a Winner who paid by Brick card has already paid their balance on their Brick card by the Draw Date, they will be refunded their purchase price (to a maximum of $1,000) by cheque. A NPM participant will receive a $250 Brick card.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.

Total maximum value of all Prizes over the course of the Contest is $12,000.00.

4. DRAW PROCEDURES:

On the fifteenth business day of each month, or the closest business day, as per the Contest Schedule, a representative from The Brick’s Corporate office in Edmonton, Alberta, will use a program to extract the email addresses of all Brick Google Reviews that have been submitted during the prior month, then draw and record two (2) Entry Forms to obtain one (1) winner (“Eligible Winner”). The additional entry drawn is a back-up entry in the event that the initial Eligible Winner is non-responsive after contact, fails to comply with the Contest Rules, or is unable to complete the skill-testing question (“Alternate Winner”).

The Brick representative will use his/her reasonable efforts to contact the Eligible Winner via comment on Your Google Review after the Draw Date. If an Eligible Winner cannot be reached by this contact method or has not contacted The Brick within three (3) days of The Brick leaving messages to do so (“Contact Date”), then that person will be disqualified, and The Brick shall proceed to contact the Alternate Winner.

5. DECLARING WINNERS:

Each monthly Eligible Winner whose name has been selected on the Draw Date must:

1. Within three (3) business days following the Contact Date, correctly answer a time-limited, arithmetical skill-testing question without the assistance of any person or mechanical/recording device(s). The skill-testing process shall be administered at a pre-arranged time and place;
2. Execute a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the Contest Rules and acceptance of the Prize; and
3. Should any Eligible Winner fail to answer the skill-testing question correctly or is unable to attend at the time and place designated by The Brick for the administration of same, that person will be disqualified and The Brick shall proceed to contact the next Alternate Winner, and so on until one person has been contacted and deemed eligible according to the Contest Rules.

6. ADDITIONAL TERMS:

By participating, You agree that: a) these Official Contest Rules and The Brick’s records of the draw or any other aspect of this Contest shall be final and conclusive in all respects; and b) release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless The Brick and its trustees, directors, officers, and employees from any liability, claims, damages, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever which they, their heirs, successors, assigns, executors, or administrators may now or hereafter have directly or indirectly against them or any of them in respect of or relating to the Contest and/or the acceptance or use, misuse, or possession of any prize.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Brick assumes no responsibility or liability for any computer, online, telephone, hardware, software or technical malfunctions that may occur (including but not limited to malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of a Google Review). If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of The Brick which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, The Brick reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest.

8. PRIVACY POLICY

The Brick will use the contact information provided in contest entries for administration of this Contest and/or to ascertain Your needs and market to You. We may communicate with You for any of these purposes by telephone, fax, text messaging, or other electronic means, and automatic dialing-announcing device, at the numbers You have provided us, or by internet, mail, email and other methods. By entering this Contest, You acknowledge and agree to give permission to The Brick to collect, use and disclose Your personal information in accordance with The Brick’s privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”). The Brick is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information You have provided herein. This Contest is not endorsed or sponsored by Google.

The Brick reserves the right to amend or vary the Official Contest Rules, including the imposition or addition of new rules which are deemed by The Brick, in its sole discretion, necessary for business efficacy.

1. GENERAL

The contest shall be conducted by The Brick Warehouse LP (“The Brick”) exclusively at The Brick’s Swift Current store at 1702 Springs Drive, Swift Current, SK (hereinafter referred to as “Store”). A participant shall be referred to as “You” or “Your”.

Ways to enter:

If You finalize a sale of product purchased at the Store during the Contest Period, using any payment method, You will be automatically entered to win a prize on the Draw Date.

No purchase necessary method of entry:

To enter, You must attend the Store to scan the exclusive contest QR code. A sales associate will direct You to a QR code that will take You to the online entry ballots. You must complete and submit the online entry (both the automatic entries and on-line entries will collectively be referred to as “Entry/Entries”)

Limit of one (1) on-line Entry per family per day. To enter, You must live within the Swift Current postal code region and/or within one hundred (100) km of the Store address.

For this purpose, “family” means all persons, whether related or not, living in the same household who are over the age of majority in the province in which they reside. The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited. Any attempt to manipulate the Contest will result in You being disqualified.

Contest dates: Commencing Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. CST, until the close of business on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. CST (“Contest Period”)

“Draw Date” – Monday, May 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. CST.

Odds of winning decrease as the number of purchases made, or Entries submitted, increase during the Contest Period.

2. PRIZES

There is two (2) prizes to be won, listed below.

Prize #1: 55” Samsung TV; UN55CU70; Retail: $749.99

Prize #2: Your Choice of Firm or Plush Scott Living Queen Aviemore Mattress; AVMRPLQM/AVMRFRQM; Retail: $2,199.00

Total retail value of all prizes is $2,948.99.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded and is not convertible to cash. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.

Once the Winners have been confirmed, The Brick will arrange for delivery of their prize to the Winner’s living within 100 km of a Brick store. Should a prize Winner live outside of the specified delivery area, The Brick will ship the prize to the Distribution Centre/Store closest to them.

The Brick’s Satisfaction Guarantee, Price Guarantee and Price Protection policies as published from time to time shall not be applicable to any merchandise obtained as a result of redeeming the Brick Gift Card or any portion thereof. The Brick’s liability for defective merchandise shall be limited to repairing defective or, where appropriate, to exchanging such defective goods within the manufacturer’s warranty period and in accordance with such warranties. In no case shall The Brick refund or otherwise compensate any winner beyond repairing or exchanging defective goods.

3. ELIGIBILITY

The contest is open to all Saskatchewan residents who have reached the age of majority on or before the commencement of the Contest Period, except employees, representatives, agents, and affiliates of The Brick and Leon's Furniture Ltd. and their immediate family members living in the same household.

You agree to abide by the contest rules as set out herein, subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.

It is a condition of eligibility that the Winner authorizes The Brick to announce and publish his/her name, address and photograph, without remuneration or consideration, in any forthcoming publicity.

On the Draw Date, a representative from the Store will draw record two (2) Entry Forms to obtain one (1) winner (“Eligible Winner”). The additional entry drawn is a back-up entry in the event that the initial Eligible Winner is non-responsive after contact, fails to comply with the Contest Rules, or is unable to complete the skill-testing question (“Alternate Winner”).

The Brick representative will use his/her reasonable efforts to contact the Eligible Winner by phone or e-mail after the Draw Date. If the Eligible Winner cannot be reached by telephone or has not contacted The Brick within three (3) days of The Brick leaving messages to do so (“Contact Date”), then that person will be disqualified, and The Brick shall proceed to contact the Alternate Winner.

5. DECLARING THE WINNER

The Eligible Winner whose entry form has been selected on the Draw Date must:

within three (3) business days following the Contact Date, correctly answer a timelimited, arithmetical skill-testing question without the assistance of any person or mechanical/recording device(s). The skill-testing process shall be administered at a prearranged time and place; and

execute a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the Prize.

Should the Eligible Winner fail to answer the skill-testing question correctly or is unable to attend at the time and place designated by The Brick for the administration of same, that Eligible Winner shall be disqualified, and the skill-testing question shall be administered to the t Alternate Winner.

The Brick’s records of the winner selection process or any other aspect of this contest shall be final and conclusive for all purposes relating to this contest.

The Winner’s name shall be available upon request provided such demand is made within three months following the end of the Contest, by emailing: contests@thebrick.com and identifying the appropriate contest “Swift Current Anniversary Contest”.

The Contest shall be conducted by The Brick Warehouse LP ("The Brick") and is open to all residents of Canada, except Quebec, from May 2, 2024 to May 31, 2024.

2. To Enter:

There are two ways to enter: An eligible FlexitiCard or Flexiti Wave Card cardholder will automatically be entered for a chance to win one of 2 pre-paid $5,000 Brick Gift Cards every time that he/she makes a purchase with his/her FlexitiCard or Flexiti Wave Card (a "Qualifying Purchase") between 12:00:01 a.m. Mountain Time (MT) and 11:59:59 p.m. MT from May 2, 2024 to May 31, 2024 (the "Contest Period") that is posted to his/her account by the 6th business day following the end of the Contest Period. Fees (including, without limitation, any annual fees, NSF fees, overlimit fees that apply, etc.), and returns shall not be considered to be Qualifying Purchases. Transactions made during the Contest Period but not posted to the applicable FlexitiCard or Flexiti Wave Card account by the 6th business day following the end of the Contest Period shall not be considered to be Qualifying Purchases. The following are also excluded from being eligible for entry: a) purchases made by an unauthorized user; b) purchases made with Flexiti cards or Flexiti Wave cards that are stolen, fraudulent, tampered with, or otherwise altered. 3. Drawing:

On Jun 17, 2024, at 2:00 pm Alberta time (the "Draw Date") 2 random draws from all eligible entries will be held at The Brick's corporate head office in Edmonton, Alberta, for the prizes.

4. Eligibility:

To be eligible, an entrant must: a) be a Canadian resident; b) be the primary cardholder of a FlexitiCard or Flexiti Wave Card account in good standing or the author of the written essay (for no purchase entries); c) have reached the age of majority in the province or territory in which she/he resides as of on or before the date of their entry, and; d) not be an employee of, or living with an employee of The Brick. Participants agree to abide by all federal, provincial and municipal laws and the contest rules as set out herein. Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations.

5. Prizes:

Each winner will receive a pre-paid $5,000 Brick Gift Card.

6. Odds:

The odds of winning depends on the total number of eligible automatic entries and non-purchase entries received. As the number of entries increases, the odds of winning decrease.

7. Declaring Winners:

An eligible winner whose name has been selected on the Draw Date will be notified via telephone by a representative of the Brick. An eligible winner whose name has been selected on the Draw Date must: a) Within ten (10) business days following the Draw Date, correctly answer a time-limited, arithmetical skill-testing question without the assistance of any person or mechanical/recording device(s).; b) Execute a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the Prize; and c) Should any eligible participant fail to answer the skill-testing question correctly or has not signed the release form within the above time frame, that participant shall be disqualified and the skill-testing question shall be administered to the next selected, eligible participant. The winner's name shall be available upon request from The Brick's head office provided such a demand is made within three months following the Draw Date.

8. Additional Terms:

By participating, entrants agree that: a) these Official Contest Rules and The Brick's records of the draws or any other aspect of this contest shall be final and conclusive in all respects; and b) release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless The Brick, their trustees, directors, officers, and employees from any liability, claims, damages, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever which they, their heirs, successors, assigns, executors, or administrators may now or hereafter have directly or indirectly against them or any of them in respect of or relating to the Contest and/or the acceptance or use, misuse, or possession of any prize. By accepting a prize the winner agrees to The Brick's and its designees' use of their names, city, province or territory of residence and/or photograph for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation.

9. Limitation of Liability:

The Brick shall not be responsible for print or typographical errors in any Contest-related materials; for transactions that are posted late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. The Brick reserves the right to amend or vary the Contest Rules, including the imposition or addition of new rules which are deemed by The Brick in its sole discretion necessary for business efficacy.

• When You purchase and keep a sale of a Limited-Edition Brickley or Brick-Lea Beach Towel (“Beach Towel”) (only 8,064 Beach Towels available for purchase), using any payment method, You will be automatically entered to win the Prize (a purchase of the Beach Towel will constitute an “Entry”). Limit of five (5) Beach Towel purchases per household. $10.00 from every Beach Towel purchase will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network.

No Purchase Necessary Method of Entry:

• To enter without purchase, You must send an email to contests@thebrick.com with a minimum 500-word essay on why You think it is important for companies to support charities in Your community. In Your email, you must include Your first and last name, and phone number.

• Limit of one (1) essay per family.

Contest Period:

• Commencing Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, September 16, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the time zone in which You reside. (“Contest Period”)

2. PRIZES

There are a total of THREE (3) prizes to be won:

Each Winner will receive a $10,000 Travel Voucher in the form of a cheque.

Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.

3. ELIGIBILITY

The contest is open to all Canadian residents who have reached the age of majority on or before the commencement of the Contest Period, except employees, representatives, agents, and affiliates of The Brick and Leon's Furniture Ltd. and their immediate family members living in the same household.

To be eligible to win the prize, You must: a) be a Canadian resident; b) have made a purchase of a Beach Towel at The Brick during the Contest Period OR have completed and submitted an essay that meets the criteria identified above; c) have kept Your Beach Towel purchase at the time of the Draw Date; d) have reached the age of majority in the province or territory in which You reside on or before the date of Your Beach Towel purchase and/or submitted essay and; e) not be an employee of, or living with an employee of The Brick Warehouse LP or Leon’s Furniture Ltd.. You agree to abide by all federal, provincial and municipal laws and the Contest Rules as set out herein. Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations.

It is a condition of eligibility that the Winner authorizes The Brick to announce and publish his/her name, address and photograph, without remuneration or consideration, in any forthcoming publicity.

4. DRAW PROCEDURE

On the Draw Date, a representative from The Brick’s Corporate Office in Edmonton, Alberta will combine the eligible automatic Beach Towel purchase Entries and essay Entries and initiate a random, computer-generated draw to obtain six (6) Entries. The first three Entries (3) will be declared the prize winners (“Eligible Winners”). The remaining three (3) Entries will be used as back-up Entries in the event that an initial Eligible Winner is non-responsive after contact, fails to comply with the Contest Rules, or is unable to complete the skill-testing question (“Alternative Winner”)

The Brick representative will use all reasonable efforts to contact the Eligible Winner, provided that Eligible Winner has complied with all Rules. If the Eligible Winner cannot be reached by telephone or email, or has not contacted The Brick within three (3) days of The Brick leaving messages to do so (“Contact Date”), then that person will be disqualified, and The Brick shall proceed to contact the Alternate Winner.

5. DECLARING THE WINNER

An Eligible Winner whose name has been selected on the Draw Date must:

1. Within three (3) business days following the Contact Date, correctly answer a time-limited, arithmetical skill-testing question without the assistance of any person or mechanical/recording device(s). The skill-testing process shall be administered at a pre-arranged time and place;

2. Execute a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the Official Contest Rules and acceptance of the Prize; and

Should the Eligible Winner fail to answer the skill-testing question correctly or is unable to attend at the time and place designated by The Brick for the administration of same, that Eligible Winner shall be disqualified, and the skill-testing question shall be administered to an Alternate Winner.

The Brick will use the contact information provided in contest entries for administration of this Contest and/or to ascertain Your needs and market to You. By participating, You agree that: a) these Official Contest Rules and The Brick’s records of the draw or any other aspect of this contest shall be final and conclusive in all respects; and b) release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless The Brick and its trustees, directors, officers, and employees from any liability, claims, damages, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever which they, their heirs, successors, assigns, executors, or administrators may now or hereafter have directly or indirectly against them or any of them in respect of or relating to the Contest and/or the acceptance or use, misuse, or possession of any prize.

The Brick shall not be responsible for print or typographical errors in any Contest-related materials; for transactions that are posted late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. The Brick reserves the right to amend or vary the Official Contest Rules, including the imposition or addition of new Rules which are deemed by The Brick in its sole discretion necessary for business efficacy.

The Brick’s records of the draw or any other aspect of this Contest shall be final and conclusive for all purposes relating to this Contest.

1. GENERAL

This Contest shall be conducted exclusively by The Brick Warehouse LP Pincher Creek location at 1300 Hewetson Ave, Pincher Creek, AB T0K 1W0 (the “Store”) for customers to enter. To enter, You must live within the Pincher Creek postal code region and/or within one hundred (100) km of the Store address. A customer is referred to as “You and “Your”.

How to enter:

• To enter, You must attend The Brick Pincher Creek location at 1300 Hewetson Ave, Pincher Creek, AB T0K 1W0 and complete an in-store ballot with the information required thereon and place the completed ballot in the contest ballot box that is allocated for that purpose (hereinafter referred to as an “Entry”)

• Limit of one (1) Entry per family. For this purpose, “family” means all persons, whether related or not, living in the same household who are over the age of majority.

• Only those completed Entry forms placed in the Contest ballot box at the Store during each Draw Date Period noted below shall be eligible to be considered to win a Grand Prize. Enter early for a greater chance of winning!

• "Draw Dates" and Draw Date Period:

• Grand Prize 1: Friday, May 3, 2024 at 4:00p.m MST at the Store. All entries made from Store opening to Store closing on May 2, 2024 will be eligible for Grand Prize draw ("Draw Date Period"). Odds of winning decrease as the number of Entries increase during the Draw Date Period.
• Grand Prize 1: Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 4:00p.m MST at the Store. All entries made during the Contest Period will be eligible for Grand Prize 2 draw. Odds of winning decrease as the number of Entries increase during the Contest Period.

The contest is open to all residents of Alberta who have reached the age of majority on or before the Draw Date except employees, representatives and agents of The Brick and Leon’s Furniture Limited. ("Leon's"), and all people employed as contractors or sub-contractors by The Brick or Leon's, and their immediate family members living in the same household AND who live within the Pincher Creek postal code region and/or within one hundred (100) km of the Store address.

It is a condition of eligibility that the winner authorizes The Brick to announce and publish his/her name, address and photograph, without remuneration or consideration, in any forthcoming publicity.

The additional entry drawn is a back-up entry in the event that the initial Eligible Winner is non-responsive after contact, fails to comply with the Contest Rules, or is unable to complete the skill-testing question (“Alternate Winner”).

A representative from the Store will use his/her reasonable efforts to contact the Eligible Winner first by phone then by email, on or after the Draw Date. If the Eligible Winner cannot be reached by one of the methods above or has not contacted The Brick within three (3) days of The Brick leaving messages to do so (“Contact Date”), then that person will be disqualified, and The Brick shall proceed to contact the next Alternate Winner.
