Win a $5,000 Brick Shopping Spree 2025

1. General:

The Contest shall be conducted by The Brick Warehouse LP ("The Brick") and is open to all residents of Quebec, from June 19, 2025, to July 30, 2025.

2. To Enter:

There are two ways to enter: An eligible FlexitiCard or Flexiti Wave Card cardholder will automatically be entered for a chance to win a $5,000 Brick shopping spree every time that he/she makes a purchase at any Brick location with his/her FlexitiCard or Flexiti Wave Card (a "Qualifying Purchase") between 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and 11:59:59 p.m. ET from June 19, 2025, to July 30, 2025 (the "Contest Period") that is posted to his/her account by the 6th business day following the end of the Contest Period. Fees (including, without limitation, any annual fees, NSF fees, overlimit fees that apply, etc.), and returns shall not be considered to be Qualifying Purchases. Transactions made during the Contest Period but not posted to the applicable FlexitiCard or Flexiti Wave Card account by the 6th business day following the end of the Contest Period shall not be considered to be Qualifying Purchases. The following are also excluded from being eligible for entry: a) purchases made by an unauthorized user; b) purchases made with Flexiti cards or Flexiti Wave cards that are stolen, fraudulent, tampered with, or otherwise altered. NO PURCHASE REQUIRED: To enter without purchase (no Qualifying Purchase required), or to enter without being a FlexitiCard or Flexiti Wave Card cardholder, send an email to brickcard@thebrick.com with your name, address, city, province or territory, postal code, day and evening telephone numbers and a 1500 word or more essay on the "Advantages of having a FlexitiCard or Flexiti Wave Card account" with the subject line "Win a $5,000 Brick Shopping Spree." Limit of one entry without purchase.

3. Drawing:

Drawing: On August 5, 2025, at 2:00 pm MT (the "Draw Date") a Brick representative will draw two (2) entries to obtain one (1) winner from all eligible entries will be held at The Brick's corporate head office in Edmonton, Alberta. The additional entry drawn is a back-up entry in the event that the initial Eligible Winner is non-responsive after contact, fails to comply with the Contest Rules, or is unable to complete the skill-testing question (“Alternate Winner”).

4. Eligibility:

To be eligible, an entrant must: a) be a Quebec resident; b) be the primary cardholder of a FlexitiCard or Flexiti Wave Card account in good standing or the author of the written essay (for no purchase entries); c) have reached the age of majority in Quebec as of on or before the date of their entry, and; d) not be an employee of, or living with an employee of The Brick or Leon’s Furniture Limited. Participants agree to abide by all federal, provincial and municipal laws and the contest rules as set out herein. Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations.

5. Prize:

The winner will receive an in-store shopping spree at The Brick location closest to them, valued at $5,000 after taxes. The entirety of the prize must be used in one purchase.Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.

A representative from The Brick’s Corporate Office will use his/her reasonable efforts to contact the Eligible Winner(s) by Instagram Direct Message after the Draw Date. If the Eligible Winner(s) do/does not respond to their notification within three business days of The Brick leaving such notification (“Contact Date”), then that Eligible Winner(s) will be disqualified, and The Brick shall proceed to contact the Alternate Winner(s).

Once the Winner has been confirmed, The Brick will arrange for delivery of their prize to the Winner living within 100 km of a Brick store. Should the prize Winner live outside of the specified delivery area, The Brick will ship the prize to the Distribution Centre/Store closest to them.

The Brick’s Price Guarantee and Price Protection policies as published from time to time shall not be applicable to this Prize. The Brick’s liability for defective merchandise shall be limited to repairing defective or, where appropriate, to exchanging such defective goods within the manufacturer’s warranty period and in accordance with such warranties. In no case shall The Brick refund or otherwise compensate the winner beyond repairing or exchanging defective goods.

6. Odds:

The odds of winning depends on the total number of eligible automatic entries and non-purchase entries received. As the number of entries increases, the odds of winning decrease.

7. Declaring a Winner:

An eligible winner whose name has been selected on the Draw Date will be notified via telephone by a representative of the Brick. An eligible winner whose name has been selected on the Draw Date must: a) Within ten (10) business days following the Draw Date, correctly answer a time-limited, arithmetical skill-testing question without the assistance of any person or mechanical/recording device(s).; b) Execute a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the Prize; and c) Should any eligible participant fail to answer the skill-testing question correctly or has not signed the release form within the above time frame, that participant shall be disqualified and the skill-testing question shall be administered to the next selected, eligible participant. The winner's name shall be available upon request from The Brick's head office provided such a demand is made within three months following the Draw Date.

8. Additional Terms:

By participating, entrants agree that: a) these Official Contest Rules and The Brick's records of the draws or any other aspect of this contest shall be final and conclusive in all respects; and b) release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless The Brick, their trustees, directors, officers, and employees from any liability, claims, damages, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever which they, their heirs, successors, assigns, executors, or administrators may now or hereafter have directly or indirectly against them or any of them in respect of or relating to the Contest and/or the acceptance or use, misuse, or possession of any prize. By accepting a prize the winner agrees to The Brick's and its designees' use of their names, city, province or territory of residence and/or photograph for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation.

9. Limitation of Liability:

The Brick shall not be responsible for print or typographical errors in any Contest-related materials; for transactions that are posted late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. The Brick reserves the right to amend or vary the Contest Rules, including the imposition or addition of new rules which are deemed by The Brick in its sole discretion necessary for business efficacy.

10. Privacy Policy:

The Brick will use the contact information provided in contest entries for administration of this Contest and/or to ascertain your needs and market to you. The Brick may communicate with you for any of these purposes by telephone, fax, text messaging, or other electronic means, and automatic dialing-announcing device, at the numbers you have provided us, or by internet, mail, email and other methods. By entering this Contest, you acknowledge and agree to give permission to The Brick to collect, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with The Brick's privacy policy ("Privacy Policy).
